Abstract: The Sesquicentennial Photograph Collection consists of images derived from photographs contributed by individuals in the community
and local museums. The photos were selected mainly for their historical interest. They represent various aspects of life in
Tulare County. The photos date from 1860's to 1990's.

The Sesquicentennial Photograph Collection consists of digital copies of photographs contributed by residents of the Tulare
County communities of Dinuba, Exeter, Visalia, Porterville and Tulare. Photo collection days were held at libraries in each
of these locations, on five separate Saturdays in 2002. Volunteers recorded information provided by the contributors about
each of their photographs. These historical photos provide a rare look at the history of Tulare County and its early residents.
The Sesquicentennial Collection was created through funding provided by the Tulare County Library, the Tulare County Office
of Education and the Tulare County Library Foundation.
