Correspondence and
news clippings regarding the Klystron Tube Research Project, 1937-1945; correspondence
between department chairman Paul Kirkpatrick and Stanford President Donald B. Tresidder
regarding budget and faculty matters, 1943-1947; and statements of William W. Hansen and
Robert L. Wathen, 1944, regarding the physics department and research on microwave devices,
with a statement by David L. Webster on Hansen's memo, 1949. The Webster and Wathen
statements may have been prepared in relation to a patent case.
