Abstract: Book collector John M. Constantinoff was probably an employee of the Russian embassy in Brussels and later lived in New York
and Hollywood. His collection of about 3,000 Russian books came to Stanford in 1987. Collection consists of records, primarily
concerning his Russian book collection. Includes dealer and auction catalogs (including material concerning the sale of the
Imperial Library), correspondence, receipts, and card catalog of collection.

Open for research; material must be requested at least 36 hours in advance of intended use.

While Special Collections is the owner of the physical and digital items, permission to examine collection materials is not
an authorization to publish. These materials are made available for use in research, teaching, and private study. Any transmission
or reproduction beyond that allowed by fair use requires permission from the owners of rights, heir(s) or assigns.
