Condolence note sent to sister of recently deceased author Charles Warren Stoddard.
Background
Sara Ada Stoddard was born June 14, 1841 in Pembroke, Genesee County, New York. She married Parker Norton Makee about 1868.
Daughter Lulu Josephine was born 1873 in San Francisco. Parker died in Hawaii in 1890, and Sara died in 1925. Ellen G. Moriarty
may have been a member of a Salem Catholic women's group, the Charles Warren Stoddard Reading Circle.
