Abstract: Robert Charles Fisher (1930-2020) was an editor, writer, and agent with the (now disbanded) International Organizations Division
of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The collection includes Robert C. Fisher's report given to the House Committee on
Un-American Activities concerning suspected communists within the United States National Student Association (USNSA), Fisher's
USNSA report to the Harvard Young Republican Club, background sources and materials for Fisher's reports, and correspondence
with senators Richard Nixon and John Bricker regarding Fisher's USNSA report.

Robert Charles Fisher (1930-2020) was an editor, writer, and agent with the (now disbanded) International Organizations Division
of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He studied at Harvard College, Columbia University Law School, and Tokyo University
Graduate School of Law. Fisher was a United States National Student Association (USNSA) delegate at Harvard College and a
representative for the USNSA while studying at Tokyo University. While with the USNSA, Fisher wrote reports on suspected communists
within the USNSA and sent the reports to then-senator Richard Nixon; Nixon reported these findings to Congress' House Committee
on Un-American Activities. During the Korean War, Fisher served in the United States Army's Counter Intelligence Corps in
Japan and Korea. Following thirteen years with the CIA, he worked as president and editor-in-chief of Fodor travel guides
and published books on travel and art.

Includes Robert C. Fisher's reports concerning suspected communists within the United States National Student Association
(USNSA), including microfilm copies; Fisher's USNSA report to the Harvard Young Republican Club; background sources and materials
for Fisher's reports, including a notebook and clippings; and correspondence with senators Richard Nixon and John Bricker
regarding Fisher's USNSA report given to the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
