    Scope and Content of Collection

    This album consists of personal photographs. First photos show the construction of a dam at Seven Systems, British Columbia in 1930. Others were taken at Salvador, Saskatchewan and showed a railroad station and grain elevators. More taken at Loon Lake, Saskatchewan in 1931. In January 1935, photographs were taken of The Pas, Manitoba showing plowing roads in winter, skidding logs for hot-logging, loading hot-logs, decking with a jammer, skidding logs for decking, loading from a deck with a jammer, hauling logs with a 60 HP caterpiller, a steam hauler taking on water, a log train hauled by a steam hauler, and photographs of The Pas Lumber Company.
