Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Ernst Bacon Papers were given to The Music Library by Elizabeth Elkus in 1955. Additions were made in 1987 by John Edmunds
and Arthur Bacon, in 1991 by Ellen Bacon, and in 1998 by Ellen and Madi Bacon. The copy of Bacon's oral history recording
was furnished by the Regional Oral History Office of the Bancroft Library in 1998.
