Abstract: The San José State University European Period Costume Collection consists of richly embroidered traditional cultural costumes
resembling peasant clothing from various European countries such as Portugal, Spain, and Italy. The accessories include large
decorative hair combs, shoes, belts, bonnets, a tambourine, and castagnettes. This collection is arranged into one series:
Series I: EUROPEAN PERIOD COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES.
