Scope and Content of Collection

The collection contains several hundred black and white prints and color slides taken by Basil Johnson, Emeritus Professor of Geography at the Australian National University. Locations include Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, Malaya, Pakistan, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand. Many rural scenes, with local inhabitants, with an emphasis on water-related issues such as irrigation and wells.
