Scope and Content of Collection

The collection contains mainly reports compiled by the Office of Affirmative Action on university personnel procedures and policies from 1973 to 1994. There is also a small amount of correspondence, pamphlets, and flyers related to the office. The collection is arranged chronologically. The Office of Equal Opportunity now manages affirmative action policy. In 2009 the Office of Equal Opportunity merged with Title IX compliance and together are now known as the Office of Equal Opportunity and Sexual Harassment / Title IX Compliance.
