documents.
Physical Location: Collection is located at the Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF).

Custodial History
Materials were assembled by Dr. Craig Fusaro in the course of his professional activities. Materials were given to his colleague,
Mark Capelli, upon Dr. Fusaro's retirement in 2017.
Biographical Note
Dr. Craig Fusaro served as the first Director of the Joint/Fisheries Liaison Office, as a instructor and lecturer at Santa
Barbara City College
and the University of California, Santa Barbara (Bren School of Environmental Science and Management) and on a variety of
national, state, and local advisory committees and panels.
Scope and Content
Twenty-two cartons of government reports (including environmental documents), river and fishery studies, field notes, symposium
proceedings, management plans, photographs, posters, correspondence (including e-mails), media accounts (including newspaper
articles), newsletters, legal filings (including briefs and pleadings), transcripts of testimony, and Endangered Species listing
documents. The collection focuses on the conservation and management of the steelhead resources of the Santa Ynez River watershed
in northern Santa Barbara County. Additionally there are materials related to other anadromous watersheds which drain the
Pacific Coast of the United States, with an emphasis on those in California; these include the Carmel River, Arroyo Hondo
Creek, Carpinteria Creek, Gualala River, Klamath River, Malibu Creek, Maria Ygnacio Creek, Putah Creek, San Carpoforo Creek,
Santa Clara River, and Ventura River.
