Biographical / Historical

Alexander Dallin (1924-2000) was the Raymond A. Spruance Professor of International History at Stanford and served as Director for the Center for Russian and East European Studies. Dallin was an American historian, political scientist, and international relations scholar.Dallin He earned a bachelor's degree in social science from City College of New York in 1947 and master's and doctoral degrees in history from Columbia University in 1948 and 1953.
