Biography/Administrative History
Fernando Aguayo-Garcia lived in San Francisco for over a decade during the 1990s. He moved to London in 2000. Aguayo-Garcia
was active in the activist organizations Queer Nation/San Francisco as well as Bad Cop/No Donut. He went on to found efficy
metals, an S and M and kink jewelry catalog where he sold his own designs.
Scope and Content of Collection
This small collection consists of stickers, flyers, and AIDS or Queer awareness campaign posters that were placed around San
Francisco and other cities. These materials are significant in that they illustrate the consciousness raising activities of
AIDS and Queer activists during the early 1990s.
