Hideo Kakekashi served with MIS in Allied Post-War Occupation of Japan.

Biographical / Historical

Hideo Kakehashi was born in 1920 in Los Angeles, California. He was incarcerated in Manzanar Concentration Camp and enlisted in the Army. He joined the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) and completed Language School at Fort Snelling in Minessota in May, 1945. He went overseas as part of General MacArthur's Occupation Forces. He married Mae M. Kakehashi. He passed away in 2016.
